QUINCE AND ROQUEFORT RYE BREAD SANDWICH

Ingredients:
  • 2 slices rye bread.
  • 200 g Roquefort cut into pieces (1.5 cm square).
  • 250 g Valliser quince cut into 1.5 cm pieces.
  • Dried fruit & nuts to garnish.
Preparation:

Toast the rye bread and cut each slice into six pieces.

Distribute the bread around a wooden serving board to provide a more rustic touch.

Then, place a piece of Valliser quince on each piece of toast.

Add the Roquefort cheese and hold together with a toothpick.

All that remains to be done is to serve the snack. It can be garnished with dried fruit and nuts. In addition to having an eye-catching dish, the combination of flavours provides a light touch.

Note:

This is an appetiser that is suitable for demanding palates, ones in search of anexplosion of flavours in the mouth, and also for those who love blue cheese, daring to try out new combinations.
